For example, abortion may be legal in the United States but for a women trying to have an abortion in one of the Southern states such as Alabama, there are so many restrictions and limitations, that it is, for all intents and purposes, illegal.

In 55 countries, getting caught means Genital Mutilation, Stoning, or Severe Beating.
In 40 countries, the penalty for getting caught having an abortion is Imprisonment.
