I had a boyfriend for a short time, then he stopped answering my calls.  I then began having STD type symptoms.  I spent what money I had to try and get tests done only to find out the doctor did not test for the STD for which my symptoms fit.  I tried for weeks to contact the doctor who never returned my calls.  I did not have the money to go back to the doctors.  I was able to reach my ex and made plans to meet with him to tell him about the possible STD.  He arrived at my house.  We were sitting and talking and then I blacked out.  All I remember are two flash backs.  One of him dragging me cross the room and one of him choking me as I yelled no.  I woke up the next day disoriented and couldn't remember anything at the time, but found all of the money I had been saving and the money from my purse had all been stolen.  I had no money to go to the doctor, the care on the island where I am is not handled confidentially and I still wasn't sure what had happened.  I was embarrassed and in denial.  Now, 4 weeks later. I have a positive pregnancy test.  I cannot support a baby and emotionally cannot do this.
